Let me ask you something personal today.
How is your walk with Jesus?
Not your church attendance. Not your Bible on the shelf. Not the prayers you mean to pray. I'm talking about your walk — that quiet, daily, intimate relationship with the One who calls you by name.
Sometimes life gets loud. The schedule fills up, the burdens pile on, and before we know it, we realize we have been going through the motions without actually going to Him.
If that is where you are today, you are not alone. And you are not too far gone.
In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus said to the church at Ephesus, "But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the deeds you did at first."
Notice what He didn't say. He didn't say "you are done." He said remember. Return. Begin again.
So how do we rekindle that walk?
Start small. Start today.
Open your Bible — even one verse. Talk to Him — even one honest sentence. Sit in the quiet — even five minutes. He is not waiting for you to have it all together. He is simply waiting for you.
The most important step back to Jesus is always the next one.
Today's Reflection: If you could describe your walk with Christ in one honest word today, what would it be? What is one small step you can take this week to draw closer to Him?
